Two Tigers Coffee

When we moved from Chicago to Columbus in 2022, a driving factor was living in a smaller city and slowing the stress of our lives down a notch. Whenever you make a major life decision or move, there are the obvious tangible things on your pros/cons list (i.e. cheaper housing, less traffic, proximity to friends, slower pace of life) and then other things you hope for but you feel silly writing down on paper or saying aloud. For me, a small local coffee shop within walking distance was top of this invisible list. We are actually pretty lucky in Clintonville because Global Gallery and Galaxy Coffee are also walkable for us but when Tony opened his perfect little shop, Two Tigers Coffee, we were ecstatic.

Since a dog entered the picture a year ago (another invisible hope), we are able to get in a 1.5 mile walk, with Oz, and get a great coffee with a warm chat while it’s lovingly made. I cannot recommend Two Tigers more highly. Most days, the people in the shop are chatty and friendly which just adds to the warmth of the experience.

Our typical order is decaf oat latte (Mike), iced oat latte (me), and a pup cup (Oz). Tony also has seasonal syrups which are excellent - lavendar and caramel are my favorites.
