For Cozy Cooks

If you are looking for a gift for a home cook or someone who loves beautiful dishes, I have ideas. These are all items I have in my home so I am speaking from experience.

Le Creuset Signature Round Dutch Oven: I was lucky enough to get a small collection of Le Creuset pots from my mom in the original flame color. While I love each one, the round dutch oven is the one I find myself reaching for again and again.

Caraway Home Saute Pan: Despite having a great collecton of Le Creuset, I really wanted a big nonstick saute pan. I read a lot about the options before purchasing Caraway and I absolutely love it. It is perfect for one pot meals that start with browning up beef, chicken, or turkey and I have never had such an easy-to-clean pan! I have it in navy.

Earlywood Large Flat Saute: Several years ago, I added this to my wish list and my best friend came through with it as a holiday gift. For $20, it is a great longlasting gift to give just about anyone who cooks. It is great for many uses in the kitchen but I use it to break up meat or stir when I am cooking.

Middle Lane Pottery Salt Pot, Oil Bottle, Travel Mug + More: Hopefully no one on my gift list reads this because I have just placed a custom order for many items from Middle Lane Pottery! Her work is stunning and I love following her explorations.

East Fork Pottery: I started building my collection a few years ago by purchasing seconds and just a few items at a time. You cannot go wrong with The Mug. We also have a collection of the Bitty Bowls which we use almost every day for almonds, a piece of chocolate, or some other small serving treat! East Fork has a core collection of colors but then has limited edition colors as well. I also have this stunning pitcher with one small glass (a ploy to get myself to drink more water) and I think one glass, two glasses, a glass and a pitcher - any combination would make a wonderful gift. You cannot go wrong with East Fork!

Skoy Scrub Two-Pack: Our friends in Tampa had these when we visited and we saw how easy it made pan clean up. They gifted us some when we got home and it has honestly changed how crabby I used to feel about cleaning pots and pans. I still love it when I am not the one doing dishes, but if I have to…these improve my mood!

Smitten Kitchen Cookbooks: While I use a lot of recipes online, I also love having real cookbooks to page through. Deb Perleman has some of my favorites!

Milk Street Cookbooks: I have Cookish and Tuesday Nights and love them both. Cookish is a great way to introduce new ideas with very few ingredients per recipe. Easy cooking!
